I came to Gabrielle as I need a stylist who understands my changing changing body as I go through menopause. My self-esteem has been low. Nothing was fitting me well and I needed help knowing how to put outfits together to suit my changing menopausal shape and lifestyle. At the initial consultation Gabrielle was welcoming, inspiring and has a beautiful nature.
I was afraid of mixing and matching and tended to either wear the same outfits over again or always felt that I had nothing to wear. During the styling sessions, Gabrielle encouraged me not to be scared of trying different combinations in my wardrobe. I don't go to events but she showed me how to take my daytime outfit to the evening if I go to dinner. She taught me how to elevate an outfit by swapping out a shoe or wearing a more structured jacket and adding accessories, which I had none of!
The styling sessions were fun particularly the personalised shopping experience. Gabrielle encouraged me to try on clothes I wouldn't normally wear. She gave me tips on how to balance my shape and the importance of how I felt in clothes that fit properly. I literally felt more confident and my whole posture changed! I really trusted Gabrielle, she knows what looks good and taught me how to make decisions when I go shopping by myself.
Gabrielle is a true professional, I felt her passion and she certainly boosted by self-esteem in an authentic way, which is what I really needed!
Styling Surprises
With some understanding of how clothes should fit and a gentle nudge to get out of my comfort zone, I've never felt more confident in getting dressed.
It was liberating knowing I could shop my wardrobe and swap out items that no longer fit or served my lifestyle.
The shopping experience was actually really fun with Gabrielle! I normally hate shopping and become overwhelmed.
